The web shouldn’t disappear behind closed doors.

EPIC FAIL
Thanks to some esteemed minds at Cambridge University, a new computer program may have figured out the rules for a board game at a Roman site in The Netherlands.
Three covers of my novel MASSIF. The UK and Australian ones have a photo-realistic approach, the US one is illustrative. All feature a seated figure looking up at a mountain range ascending into space. US cover illustration by Matt Griffon. UK cover by blacksheep.
Cover reveal time!
An adult science fiction novel tinged with horror, about the crew of a small warship in a relatively near future where humans hitch rides to the stars on sentient star-faring mountain ranges called Massifs.
Can be pre-ordered at the usual places, *please* do so. Thank you.

The feature, which launched in August, claims to help you “sharpen your message through the lens of industry-relevant perspectives.” When users select the “expert review” button in the Grammarly sidebar, it analyzes their writing and surfaces AI-generated suggestions “inspired by” related experts. Those “industry-relevant perspectives” include the likes of Stephen King, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Carl Sagan, among many others. The Verge found numerous other tech journalists named in the feature, as well, including former Verge editors Casey Newton and Joanna Stern, former Verge writer Monica Chin, Wired’s Lauren Goode, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and Jason Schreier, the New York Times’ Kashmir Hill, The Atlantic’s Kaitlyn Tiffany, PC Gamer’s Wes Fenlon, Gizmodo’s Raymond Wong, Digital Foundry founder Richard Leadbetter, Tom’s Guide editor-in-chief Mark Spoonauer, former Rock Paper Shotgun editor-in-chief Katharine Castle, and former IGN news director Kat Bailey. The descriptions for some experts contain inaccuracies, such as outdated job titles, which could have been accurately updated had Superhuman asked those people for permission to reference their work.
The endpoint of journalism is that an AI startup turns you into a fake "editor" without telling you and against your will www.theverge.com/ai-artificia...

A hydrangea dragon climbs a tree branch toward a heliconia dragon nest. Fig. 1 Hydrangea dragons are agile climbers, which allows them to indulge their taste for the eggs of other nesting dragons.
An elf looks on as a hydrangea dragon devours leftovers. Caption: Fig. 2 Hydrangea dragons are scavengers, eating anything they come across or can steal from other predators.
Close-up sketch of a fierce hydrangea dragon head with large defensive horns and textured scales. Caption: Fig. 3 Though intimidating in appearance, hydrangea dragons only use their horns for defense.
Meet the hydrangea dragon! Their blooms change; acidic soil produces blue blooms, and alkaline soil produces pink. Balanced soil produces blooms of both colors!.
