Yeah, it is insanely good. The transition from alternative history to speculative sci-fi is very well done.

I absolutely adore the first two seasons of this show, and while I really enjoy the subsequent seasons, I find myself not caring as much about the newer generations of characters than I do about the OG ones.
I finished work yesterday and it was still bright outside. What witchcraft is this!?
I expected a nom for Odessa A'zion. Also, Giacchino absolutely deserved a nom for Fantastic 4. That score was widely praised.
I occasionally see people's surprised reactions that Barbara Broccoli is an actual producer's name. I think it is the alliteration that makes the name sound like a cartoon vegetable in a children's TV show.
Tina Turner?
There seems to be a prevalent mindset that a finale can only be great if there are loads of twists and deaths. Maybe it's the Game of Thrones effect. I don't agree with it.
Do you mean more deaths when you say risks?
She's not English
She does sound quite entitled there. Big difference between saying something like "I would have liked to have done it", and "It should have been me". Anyway, casting Dench turned out to be one of the best decisions the series made. As good as Maxwell was, she's no Judi Dench.
Are you optimistic or pessimistic about the state of the movie industry for 2026?
Avatar: The Last Airbender by James Newton Howard comes to mind.
Even Goldfinger would be like, "You've gone a bit overboard with the gold!"
That whole situation is utterly shameful for the studios involved.
That reminds me of the scene in LTK where Milton Krest tries to explain Bond's outlandish escape to Sanchez who clearly doesn't believe him.
GoldenEye has a great collection of bad guys. Xenia, Boris, Ourumov.
It's my joint favourite along with GoldenEye
It would be a funny quirk of Craig's filmography if he ends up making more Blanc movies than Bond movies. I don't think a Bond actor has ever played another character more than Bond on film (Moore was The Saint but that's TV).
When all the films were released in cinemas for the 60th, the line that got the biggest laugh across all 25 films in my screenings was M saying 'Thank you Ms. Moneypenny, that's all, that's all!" from FRWL. I definitely wouldn't have expected that line to get the biggest laugh from the whole series
However I don't recommend listening to Back To The Future's score while driving due to the almost uncontrollable urge to drive at 88mph.
It also has one of James Horner's best, albeit somewhat forgotten, scores. The main theme is very cute and catchy: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uT7Q...
Mon Mothma's senate speech should be taught in schools and colleges.
I don't know how we got so lucky to get Alien Earth. Alien fans have had a hard time of it. Decades waiting for a decent film, decades of being disappointed. Now it's actually happening and I am in state of open-mouth disbelief.
My strongly object to The Omen being included on this list, and it isn't just because of my name!
Well that's pretty much guaranteed another Jurassic World movie in another few years.
Spotted a copy in a Dublin bookshop. Looking forward to reading it.
