Not only did they block traffic, they blocked public transport too. That's not protest, that's bullying.

They are out and out bullies. Everyone is entitled to protest. It is something that is voluntary, not mandatory though. People going for hospital treatment, children with disabilities, elderly people left stuck in cars for hours. They blocked the roads and public transport.🤬

The reason I'm highlighting the trolley numbers is to show the overcrowding. This is not the very hardworking staffs doing. I commend anyone working there. It can't be easy at all.

I myself was left on a trolley for 5 nights. 2 in the ED and 3 on a corridor of a ward. It is serious pressure on the staff who should not and aren't equipped to deal with that kind of overcrowding.

I hope you're doing okay, Con. The staff are fantastic. I couldn't fault them. It's the system, the government, the HSE and management that I have a problem with. There are people left for days on a trolley and this practice isn't right.

There is no mechanism to prevent these sheds from becoming AirBnBs or short-term lets, nor is there an affordability clause to prevent rip-off rents.

It's a voluntary position that they are trying to force her out of.

Instructing someone to resign is a complete contradiction. Surely if a person resigns it's of their own volition.
