"Bus full" on Sandringham Road
PA not even working. Guard having to walk through, tell each small group of people. 5 mins just to empty train.
Kingsland. Everyone off, after 10 mins sat there. "One of the kids banged a sensor in the door"
PSA - AKL Western line train stuck at Morningside. Wheels falling off, cant close doors or go anywhere
I want to see every train carriage & bus in the country plastered with this sign. Every wall. Every seat back. Hell, put it on the ceilings.
A blue sky with clouds. In the foreground is a green Primary Route exit sign for the A140. The destinations given are Ipswich Diss Norwich. It’s a image I took from google Maps as I wasn’t quick enough on the draw with my camera.
In East Anglia they even put their civic/ football beefs on road signs
Lighting the void
Full random across platforms.
Fully crashed tonight
Morning all.

Illustration of a person riding a bicycle on an overpass over a highway with cars bumper-to-bumper in a traffic jam. Everything's drawn in red except the cyclist, who's drawn in black.

a map from 1918 showing the interurban network sprawling across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio
One side obsession from my research into the 1920s is the extensive network of ELECTRIC trains that used to connect cities and towns across the central Midwest called the Interurban. We had this more than a hundred years ago. The things we had and the things we lost.

Text says: Canterbury locals - South Island journeys Save 25% with Tranzalpine (June travel) Christchurch locals can enjoy 25% off Scenic and Scenic Plus journeys on one of New Zealands most iconic rail experiences. Y'know Kiwirail, there's a whole other Region on the western end of the Midland line that might want to take the train . . .
I would really like to see a "declouding" movement where consumers demand any software that doesn't strictly need to be in the cloud, be downloadable to run locally on their own hardware.
The way that things used to be.
Sound Transit can halve the cost of light rail to Ballard and West Seattle by building them as a connected automated light rail line with slimmer stations, according to two transit experts who have launched the Sound Transit Now campaign.

It makes perfect sense that 'car bloat' safety discussions focus on big SUVs & pickup truck
But this NY Times essay complaining about how expensive our most basic cars have become also points out that sedans are much bigger & much more powerful than they used to be
This is not safety neutral
Heat pumps are the most efficient heating technology ever invented.
They harvest and compress pre existing heat in the air, ground or water and transport it where it is needed.
That energy is all around us.
And it does not have to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
#sunset behind a tree! What a perfect photo!
Have to come clean here, I've rewatched this video maybe a dozen times today. Absolute cinema.
Nephew is travelling the coast currently. Fortunately this is how he is rolling...
Same! Tents are such a cool version of architecture. Fun, simpler in many ways but still technically challenging and creative. I particularly love indicative large tent designs! Neat design you made there.
