Okay, so caveating this by saying I'm not @conspirator0.bsky.social and nowhere near as expert. The operation has two main arms: the Abdelfattah cell (~877 accounts) and the Mahmouds Family cell (~124 accounts). Similar templates, but different infrastructure and different coordination methods.

It is with deep sadness that I have to report the passing of Chip Berlet. He was one of the few people to consistently research and organize against the U.S. Far Right from the 1970s through the '00s. His co-authored 2000 book "Right-Wing Populism in America" unfortunately remains all-to-relevant.

There's a direct line from the 90s irony culture to the idea of sincerity being "cringe." It was a cudgel used to silence critics of their mysogyny, racism, antisemitism & bigotry. Eg "Relax, it's just a joke! Don't be so uptight." It was as toxic then as it is now.

yeah, i have to be careful not to turn homelabbing into work labbing too 😂 Being only on non-work devices & having a weekend routine that’s very different is also helping me.

I'm also trying to do this! For me, choosing activities that have a start time really helps. eg I commit to watching a game & it keeps me from starting work that I'll get lost in. I've also been using rewards like x hours of a favorite video game or fun homelab tinkering
