Today, the White House created a nominal feel good event where they touted a new policy that removed taxes on tips for gig workers and servers. So, cool, right? What's wrong with that? (7).

I was also emotional because the mission was a reminder that sometimes powerful empires like America can drive positive change for noble reasons. I was reminded that people of all backgrounds can work together on incredible and challenging projects and succeed. (5).

Last night, I caught up with a lot of the media coverage of the Artemis II mission. I got emotional. It really *is* an incredible and undeniable leap for humanity. I marveled at the achievement, but also the real love and bravery of the people involved the mission. (4).
