I think if consumer behavior changes such that they use these Claude/ChatGPT more every day, there is an incentive for applications to start supporting it to not be left behind.

The bigger question is if OpenAI and Google adopt this protocol. If they don’t, I don’t see this going anywhere.

Similar to how HTTP was created for communication between web servers and web browsers, having a protocol to connect data with LLMs is crucial.
