So after 10 long years working spirit-grinding job, I took the plunge and finally quit!
And as scary as unemployment might be atm, I can't deny how freeing I suddenly feel, as if a weight's gone from my shoulders at long last! 😌
Cant believe its already been over 2months into 2026 and I've hardly done any drawings to show for it

Was in an Ace Attorney mood this week and tried to redraw an old sketch concept from my early days.😌
I think it came out alright, but I think I got flustered at the color stage, made it more messy and random than stylish and intentional 😑
Back on the drawing-horse, with a rough Stormlight-inspired sketch challenge.
Perspective and scene building both are pretty dang difficult...
Still as messy as it is, I kinda like it even if it's more likely to remain a WIP than a finished work ^_^;

Its disappointing yes
But aside from needing to vent a little, I'm not gonna let it get me down for long.
Silver lining is I at least learned what I could achieve within a time-crunch and I suppose I know to be more cautious if there's ever a next time 💫

I was suspicious of them when first approached for the work but I felt as if it was just my self-doubt trying to hold me back.
I let my guard down and set myself up for quite the lesson of disappointment and humility 😓
So I finally got asked to work on what my first ever art commission...
After a weeks hard work, my client turned out to be a scammer and I fell for it like a fool 😔

Yeah, that low angle draw challenge has certainly been making the rounds.
Its been oddly inspiring and encouraging to see both pro and rookie artists try and struggle with the fun challenge.
