With the FIFA World Cup fast approaching, people like Allen Hall fear déjà vu.
For @atlantaciviccircle.org:
my favorite part of the weather is how it makes my hands hurt
We are somehow under both a freeze warning and “enhanced risk” for the bad weather
anyway that’s just my perspective as someone who has only recently accepted their disability after running myself into the ground for years and is now too sick to work :)
I’m just so sick of pro-transit leftists half-assing the conversation about accessibility, or having knee jerk reactions about parking. 🤷
A car where I can control my environment makes it much easier for me to leave the house. And yeah - I have tremendous privilege of having a safe, reliable car that is paid off (thanks, dead dad money)
Even if my destination is right in front of a bus stop, public transport still isn’t always accessible to me. If I’m having a bad pain day, like where even something touching my skin hurts, and my only option is to take a bus, yeah, I’m probably not fucking going.
I’ve had to unfollow a lot of pro-transit people because anytime parking comes up they’re just totally anti with no nuance. Often when someone brings it up they’re like “well of course there should be ADA parking” but like, the ADA isn’t the be all end all of true accessibility
idk I think public transport should be free and accessible but also some days I can’t walk from a bus stop to my destination so maybe the “parking garages are evil” discourse should be more nuanced
Democrats are working to quash leftwing protests even harder than the Trump admin — even as Trump’s DOJ deploys a previously unused subsection of federal law to unleash sweeping indictments on First Amendment-protected activity.
New from me for @prismreports.org: prismreports.org/2026/03/11/n...
As allies push to free Nashville Noticias reporter Estefany María Rodríguez Florez, attorneys argue that her arrest and detention violate the First Amendment.
Free Press' @juliorvarela.com reports on the chilling impacts on journalists who report on or criticize ICE on today's Pressings Issues:
This is very serious and I hope all the 1A orgs will meet the moment here.
unexpected things making you cry about dead dads is such a universal dead dad experience
Common hospital experience
Lmao
NTSB graphic depicted the flight paths of the CRJ and Blackhawk helicopter.
The NTSB issued its final report on the mid-air collision between a PSA CRJ-700 and US Army Blackhawk helicopter, finding a chain of systemic failures led to the accident and providing a litany of safety recommendations to the FAA, US Army and others. www.flightradar24.com/blog/flight-...
I’m shocked by this turn of events
ICYMI: Here's the full text of the threat issued by Cobb County, Ga., the 23rd largest school district in the country.
In a county which voted for Biden and Kamala Harris for 15 points, the district also came under fire in the past few years for aggressive book bans:
www.cobbk12.org/important-up...
Who could have guessed that Cobb County Schools would take the most aggressive position in metro Atlanta on this (at least publicly)?
Everyone in metro Atlanta basically.
Oh boy
Last year, I collaborated with @gelliottmorris.com and scores of journalists and volunteers to conduct a crowdsourced, unofficial, nationwide estimate of "No Kings" attendees.
We're pretty confident that both "No Kings" days were the two largest single-day protest events in American history:

Oh no
❤️ well wishes for you and the bb
None of these people should be able to work in our industry again
