The Perfect Anthropocene 2023

Sculptural installation composed of medicine cabinets filled with Vaseline, whose mirrored exteriors reflect the wooden floors, the white walls, and one another.

Sculptural installation with an articulating medical arm mount that extends from the wall into the space. Attached to its end is a monitor playing television that in real time changes every ninety seconds between public and private channels. Viewers are invited to take a seat on the bench in front of the personal hospital monitor, thus adopting the perspective of a patient.

Two identical small black boxes sit directly on the floor, plugged into electrical sockets on the wall. On their top, identical configurations of logs appear burning in flames. Through small slits in the boxes, wires and electrical components are visible.
