Evans stated the post processing on this new master is how the film was always supposed to look and that they didn't know any better when they were originally grading it.
Interesting thought while watching the new 4K remaster: should filmmakers be allowed to tweak their films like this? Do they have an obligation to also preserve the originally released version?
