while I have worn my musselburgh with a folded brim, my favorite way to wear it is extra slouchy like some sort of deranged, oversized gnome.

two things that can be true at the same time - Mitch can eat a bag of dicks and also thank god he voted the way he did last night. may be a hollow victory, still feels important.

It’s so weird how we’re all just working like this is still a normal country.

I just want it to be Friday so I can cry and be sad in peace and not have my crying and overstimulation be interrupted by something as silly as my job.

Look, I don’t know exactly who should replace Mr. Schumer as Minority Leader, but I wouldn’t be unhappy with Cory Booker, that’s for sure.

Just fyi - without bees? We’re cooked. And very very soon.

While every single person in power is too concerned with getting every penny possible out of us instead of doing anything about our upcoming extinction.

We’re in an era of unbelievable headlines.

I have my own hoard of Melly batts but none of your yarn so yes, I would 100% sneak in and snag one or two hanks.

Everything Melody touches is incredible and I’m coming to raid that stash of handspun in the back asap.

danced to paparazzi on the middle of coney island avenue and genuinely didn’t give a single fuck. if anyone understands recession pop, it’s gaga and if american democracy is on its way out, at least there are good tunes to herald the fall.

the mermaid hair was worth it. these ramen noodles won’t last but I’m going to enjoy the heck out of them while they do.

teaching my silly white husband how to take out my two strand twists has been the biggest exercise in patience. there goes any chance of teaching him how to do a retwist and any chance of saving me trips to Harlem to maintain my locs.

past tazhi decided to get really high and run from their problems and somewhere in that adventure, red orange yarn was procured to make the paul cardigan inspired by the sample image and present tazhi can’t tell if past tazhi was on to something or fully losing it. guess we’ll find out together.

I didn’t know that was a thing one could do ~side eyes the basket of WIPs next to bed. said pile has gotten so out of control, our intrepid crafter decided to get more buckets instead of working on less projects.

how many knit vests are too many? asking for a friend who has 7 vest patterns in their Ravelry queue and yarn for ALL of them (mostly handspun because have you met me?)

we are also immediately obsessed and have since cast on. 12 rows of bottom up ribbing was all I had in me but I’m looking forward to easy squishy garter.

this yarn is 2 ply spun on my EEW 6.0 and is descended from Cloudy and Joy, a pair of Clun Forest x BFL lambs from WI.

It would look INCREDIBLE on you. We know you love a neck accessory.

nope, both my main color and contrast are handspun - mc is from fleece, cc is from dyed top. also thanks so much!

the music in Moana 2 is trash and I cannot be persuaded otherwise. Moana 1 was incredible and I am furious that this is its inheritance.

the dissonance of posting fo photos and youtube videos about knitting and spinning during the fall of democracy and the rise of fascism is the biggest mindfuck and I am not at all equipped for this.

time to get stupid high and pretend it isn’t happening again.

finally starting white lotus. normally not a soap person but escapism and all that.

the knitwear in Sting is incredible. from the opening scene where an old woman in knitting with wool held double with a fuzzy yarn to all of the cables and colorwork, this movie has nailed the wool vibes. the deadly spider is an added bonus.
