US citizens paid $166 Billion in illegal tariffs and now it’s being refunded back to corporations instead of us.
Sounds about right.
Posts by Bernard Taylor 🚒 FL-21 for Congress
At the recent candidate forum, I spoke about the importance of ensuring children and adults with special needs and disabilities have access to the resources they deserve.
That means investing in healthcare, strengthening education systems, and creating real opportunities for independence.
So not only did thousands of people lose their jobs during the DOGE cuts, we now have the Fed Chair saying that there is zero net job creation in the private sector over the past year.
What happened to the public to private sector pipeline that we were told would flourish from those cuts?
am happy that the city of Port St. Lucie is putting on this autism awareness and community resource event today. If you are a parent or provider who is looking for help, please come out to the Port St. Lucie community center and see what resources are available to you. here from 9 AM to noon.
In South Florida, the Haitian community is part of the fabric of who we are.
Extending TPS provides stability, but it can’t be the end of the conversation.
We need real immigration reform that supports families, strengthens our economy, and reflects our shared humanity.
During Black Maternal Health Week, we recognize the importance of access, support, and listening when it comes to maternal health.
Let’s continue: Supporting families, Expanding access to care, and Raising awareness
Because when mothers are healthy, communities are stronger.
It’s time to put the needs of the people here in Florida first. It’s time to put people over party affiliation.

Honored to be endorsed by the American Small Business League
The American Small Business League works to stop the diversion of federal small business contracts to big businesses.
If you’re a small business owner, I’m in your corner. Let’s build something stronger, together.
Unemployment on the Treasure Coast has risen to 5.7%, up significantly from last year (4.1%) and higher than the state average (4.9%).
That means thousands of our neighbors are struggling to find work.
We need real solutions:
- Good-paying jobs
- Workforce training
- Support for small businesses
Thank you to the Martin County Democrats club for letting me speak today at their spring fundraiser.
Visit my website and contribute to my campaign today. Link in my bio.
This campaign isn’t about politics as usual, it’s about people.
It’s about making sure every voice in our community is heard and every family has a fair shot.
Together, we can bring real change to Florida.
Candidate forum went really well yesterday evening. The Martin County community got a chance to hear all 3 potential challengers to Brian Mast give their thoughts on a variety of topics. Hope my message resonated with everyone.
Automatic registration for the military draft to be implemented by December.
But no automatic voter registration because the technology isn’t there?
That makes sense.
Do you remember in The Lion King when scar told the hyenas if they helped him become king he will make their lives better and then their lives didn’t get better and he blamed them for it.
And upon realizing this, the hyenas ate him.
Do with that story what you will.
A whole lot of people are gonna lose their lives, in a conflict that didn’t need to happen, because there is a group of powerful people in the world who don’t want to be exposed for their crimes against children.
lol 😂.
Here I am getting ready to relax for the evening and it was brought to my attention that I was included in this USA Today article.
Never thought this would be my introduction to the world but I will take it lol. Humbled to be among some amazing candidates.

Yes they do
Real conversations. Out here knocking doors with one of my volunteers, because campaigns aren’t won from behind a screen, they’re built block by block, neighbor by neighbor. Boots on the ground isn’t just a strategy, it’s how we listen, learn, and fight for what our community truly needs.
In Congress, I’ll fight to strengthen public schools, support teachers, and ensure resources actually reach our classrooms, not get lost in bureaucracy.
If you’re a parent, teacher, or student in St. Lucie County, I want to hear from you.
St. Lucie County schools have lost millions in funding this past year, and the impact is hitting our classrooms hard.
Bigger class sizes. Fewer resources. Burned-out teachers.
That’s not how we set kids up for success.
We need accountability, and leadership that puts students and educators first
The reason I’m running to unseat Brian Mast here in the district where this woman is a resident is because she is not the only one who feels this way. I’m running to be a voice for the voiceless

Congressman Brian Mast told the people here in Florida 21 that the one big beautiful bill would make life more affordable for them. Clearly it has not which is why I’m running to unseat him.

This man is suffering in the district that congressman Brian Mast serves. Stories like this or why I’m running to unseat him in the midterms and actually put Floridians needs first.
