When we lived in Germany, the best cheese was from a truck at the farmer’s market. I think Caromont is the only cheese at our Saturday markets, right? Or is there maybe one at the city market (not IX)?

But isn’t this always the way? Your organization hires a consultant, and at the end of the day you basically pay them to leave.

A statement from 201 concerned faculty about U.Va. President Beardsley’s appointment By acting in bad faith, the Board has flouted its fiduciary duties to the University and has violated its own bylaws calling on it to protect the University from outside interference.

We have concerns! www.cavalierdaily.com/article/2026...

Yes, but I find logging in through the library sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t (especially when I’m out of the country) so it’s worth it to me to pay the $140/year for a personal account. Unless of course I first have to order a new box of checks.

EDITORIAL: An eleventh-hour presidential appointment and a community left in the dark Furthermore, it is hard to ignore that the unanimous vote elevating Beardsley to the University’s top role was undertaken by a Board that is seemingly not legally constituted.

The Cavalier Daily strikes again. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
"Scott Beardsley’s appointment [as UVA president] epitomizes a semester defined by absence, secrecy and institutional disregard." www.cavalierdaily.com/article/2025...

Nag Hammadi friends: If you had to choose one “gnostic” text to read in a grad seminar on religious thinkers in antiquity, which would you choose and why? Bonus if it comes with an article that is readable for students with no Coptic and little experience with the corpus.
