Resident Evil 7

After a mixed bag with 5 and me then dropping 6, since I wasn't up for 20 hours of mindless action, this was a very pleasant experience. The horror is intense and effective and I enjoyed the smooth shift from intimate backwoods horror towards a class RE like setting. Very nice!

Not gonna say that they aren't lying about this beeing accidental, but I think that is one (of many) problem with AI placeholders in the first place. If you can't clearly detect a placeholder on first glance, it's not a good placeholder. If you don't want an asset in the final game, make it obvious.

I finished the story last weekend and I'm far from putting it away. I'm still kinda blown away just by how much game there is. The Pokémon are so expressive and funny in dialogue. Can't praise it enough, easy my GOTY at this point of time. (Haven't played RE9 yet though)
