I do want to finish something one day. It doesn't have to be good, or even worth reading, and I certainly don't expect to ever publish anything, but I just want to finish writing something and be proud of the thing I wrote even if no one ever reads it.

I recently reached 15k words on a book idea I've been working on really slowly for a while. It's an idea I have very little faith in actually ever finishing, but hey, 15k words is a new record so far!
They are openly evil. They openly said one of the reasons the company is around is to kill people. I think they wanted a name that signals their shittiness to the right people while still having enough plausible deniability to claim it's just a book reference.
As someone funnier than me posted a couple of days ago, I feel like we are just a couple of months away from Palantir employers leaving text or audio logs like this at their offices :P
What a plot twist
When my wife went to Liverpool, she left a half-eaten pack of fancy expensive ice cream in the freezer. Well, I ate it, and to compensate for my crime, I bought another one.
The problem is, I just ate the replacement pack too.
Bro
I should fry chicken more often and learn to do it consistently properly so that there wouldn't be a 50% chance that the batter or the coating just comes off while frying.
I know what causes that, but I still mess it up more often than I should.
I'm reading Natsume Souseki and refreshingly this really is not what I had expected from a Japanese literary classic from the Meiji period.
At times RE4 really doesn't even pretend to be a horror game :P
A weirdly handsome picture of Ponta
I thought it said G7
Nah bro the sleepiness just gets worse throughout the years
I genuinely thought this was satire at first.
Lisa simpson in front of a glass case of THE BOARD OF CANADA
Natsume Souseki's I Am a Cat and Tove Jansson's Moomin books have a surprisingly similar style of satire.
Oh damn I didn't realise the new Genshin update brought you here. Cool, I guess. I kind of expected it to be a main story location towards the climax of the story.
More new music by me! This time it's groovy night vibes!

Oh man this is a banger

The weird flickering is due to the stabilization feature I was trying out with the camera I got, but I'm totally going to pretend it's an artistic choice for a retro TV vibe or something :P

Ponta is back to work
It's the first balcony book reading evening of the year!
Visually a slight failure, the small bacon fat bits look especially unappealing, but the flavour is a success! It's incredibly rich! Almost too rich.
I will need to make this again and cook it properly next time!
Looking much better! My execution clearly wasn't perfect though. If I make this again, I need to brown the meats and the onions more, and not add quite as much liquid as I did this time.
A life size standee of Bruno Mars at Shibuya Tower Records.
Can't stop thinking about this standee of Bruno Mars that looks like he's a guest character on the next Like A Dragon game.
And time to simmer it for at least two hours.
I'm a bit worried that I didn't brown the meat and the onions enough for the beautiful dark colour, but let's see what over two hours of stewing does.
What a delicious classic beer though. I had a couple of sips to taste because I haven't tried the Tripel version before. It's malty, not overly bitter, and has an almost fruity sweetness of a good Belgian golden ale. At 8% it almost sounds dangerous because it's so refreshing and pleasant to drink.
Then the painful part!
While I generally support the high alcohol taxes in Finland, they do feel extra painful when you use alcohol for cooking.
A bottle of Trappist Tripel is not cheap.
And here I am, bringing it to boil.
Pork and beef are browned! Time to caramelize onions!
