If I read something I don't understand or don't think is right, I'll do further research. I like to read more deeply about things I agree with, & sometimes I've had my mind changed. They stay with their source of GB News & Daily Mail & other commenters patting them on the back and agreeing.
They're in an echo chamber with no desire to be proven wrong & don't look at any other media that might give them different insight. They've no idea what those other ends look like. You & I probably read/watch broadly & form our own opinions but they get spoon-fed them. No critical thinking ability.
