A winter wonderland this morning on the Virginia River pedestrian trail
I remember seeing this in a book when I was 16. It made an enormous impression on me, the first work of visual art to really do so

I just voted, half a kilometre from my house, 9 AM on voting day and the entire process took 8 minutes. This has been typical of my voting experiences over the last 40 years. Whatever the failures of our political processes, a lot of positives there as well.
