I didn’t think I could enjoy an #Oscars musical performance more than last year’s “I’m Just Ken.”
But I’ve had the Erivo/Grande “Defying Gravity” opening going through my mind all day.
Each were 10/10, but for completely different reasons.
I'm Still Here is one of my favorite films in a long time that has flown under most people's radar. Even if it doesn't take home an award tonight, I wholeheartedly recommend it to you.
If Torres does win, it is not an upset. She deserves all the accolades for her work.
Of the films nominated for Best Picture at the #Oscars , my favorites are I'm Still Here, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, and A Complete Unknown.
If I had to create a second tier, I would add The Brutalist, Wicked, and The Nickel Boys.
