I'm so sick of greige. I need to replace my colorful 30+ year-old shower curtain and towels, and everything available is so drab and depressing.
I'd rather use what I have until it's threadbare than buy the drab crap.
Ad if they're ticketed for doing it, they consider it the cost of doing business in service of meeting absurd performance targets. Their business model is built on antisocial behavior.
Don't forget all the ad libs he'll do when he can't read the teleprompter.
"And God said, tears in his eyes, "Sir, one day there will be a president with a red tie who will be the best president ever." And God said, let there be Trump!"
- Trump, probably.
Trump's insatiable need for attention has created an amnesia of sorts, where so many forget the good deeds of Obama and Biden. They're both fallible people who made mistakes, but served the people rather than trying to fulfill selfish interests and petulant greed.
He knows nothing of any New York real estate he couldn't evict someone from.
The head of Goya was a dick long before supporting Trump.
Fissionable materials, obviously.
Don't forget to pay the assessment for your bomb shelter, btw.
I'm half convinced Trump appointed RFK Jr. so he'd look sane by comparison.
Won't happen as long as the oligarchs are benefiting.
Of course it's staged. She's the first contractor in ages whom Trump hasn't stiffed.
Fortunately, the Red Cross does not rely solely on the U.S. government for funding. Not defending Trump by any means, and losing federal funds has an impact, but it won't cripple the entire organization.
Protesting is an act of love. It is born of a deeply held conviction that the world can be a better, kinder place. Saying "no" to injustice is the ultimate declaration of hope.

He'll blame it on a prominent Democrat, which his diminishing base will glom onto, despite it making no sense.
Well, he's getting praise from his handlers, so it's all worth it to him.
He knew a lot of survivors were dealing with economic insecurity on top of the devastating loss, worrying about missing mortgage payments, etc. while mourning. He sought no publicity for it - just helped out.
After 9/11, he heard who the affected families were in his county, visited them with condolences and checks to get them through the immediate period when there were no salary checks coming and insurance hadn't kicked in.
World's best bar band, too. Bruce and the E Streeters are amazing.
Apparently this guy is on the express elevator to Hell, and it doesn't bother him one bit.
Good point.
Yeah, they told him he's not getting a penny of it.
Several houses in my neighborhood have lawn signs saluting their Catholic churches, right next to Charlie Kirk sainthood signs and MAGA crap. Guessing they'll give up the Pope before they even consider dumping their orange idol.
What's stopping the Democrats from showing up and making demands en masse? They don't need permission from Johnson to freely assemble and state their case. Does it have the power of an official House gathering? No, but making the demands from the steps of the Capitol is more effective than this.
He got praise from his keepers, plus some cash on the side. That's all that's important to him.
He wants to be a member of the big evil boys club and is thrilled for any crumbs they want to throw his way. We all suffer as a result.
Checking in on his employee.
GOP Congressmen will never do a damn thing to stop him. Sure, he's threatening genocide, but he'll have them primaried if they call him out, and really, what's more important to them?
And while nuclear holocaust is bad, some of 'em think Armageddon will get them to heaven anyway.
As an aside, love that the "America 250" flag is there and not the "'Freedom'" 250" logo being used by Trump's nationalist grab at rewriting the U.S. history of the last quarter millennium.
I (gentile) brought a humorous one-page Haggadah to the first Seder I attended with my (Jewish) SO's family. We had a few laughs and didn't even finish it...
