During our #SpringCleanCymru events, over 70 different volunteers contributed 260 volunteer hours (around 7 working weeks!) collecting 432 bags of rubbish, 6 trolleys, 5 tyres, 20 cones, 6 bikes, many footballs & several rubber ducks.

22 Volunteers cleared 59 bags of litter and lots of big stuff from Dr Who Beach yesterday in Cardiff Bay.
Shortly afterwards, 2 swans were checking out the site for nesting.

This evening, 4 CRG trustees and some enthusiastic volunteers returned to Hamadryad Park to clear more rubbish caught in the reeds.
In 90 minutes we removed 52 bags of rubbish, and larger items, especially polystyrene.
In the last 7 days of #SpringCleanCymru we've collected over 250 bags of litter.
On the morning of Thursday 26th March Rhodri the ranger has asked for our help in the reen that runs through Linear Park and Caerleon Park in St Mellons.

24 volunteers gathered in glorious sunshine at Splott Beach today. After clearing fly-tipping at the head of the beach we ventured out as the tide receded.
We filled 85 bags of litter, and got many larger items. Great to see many new faces too, thanks to everyone who came along. #SpringCleanCymru
Next Saturday we're back in Cardiff Bay at 'Dr Who Beach' tucked into the corner by Tiger Yard. The current washes lots of litter onto the shore there, so there's lots to do.

14 volunteers filled 54 bags of rubbish, found loads of Nox canisters, a large TV, several syringes and a complete toilet actually in the river Taff yesterday! We were just upstream from Channel View slipway at Jim Driscoll Way as part of #springcleancymru

Our first event of #SpringCleanCymru, was on the banks of the Rhymney at Ball Lane today. 31 volunteers collected 66 bags of rubbish, 2 bikes, a motorbike frame, a shopping trolley, car tyre and lots of bulky rubbish. Many thanks to all who came along, great to see so many new faces too!

15 volunteers cleared 64 bags of rubbish, 2 bikes, shopping trolley, toilet cistern, sofa cushions, NOx bottles & many bags of household waste from Pil-Du-Reen in St Mellons yesterday.

Opening it up will let in more light and hopefully encourage dragon & damsel flies
