if you don’t like the process of writing then don’t be a fucking writer, it’s not that complicated

Started writing a full length feature screenplay this weekend. Just got done with page 13. Revisiting a classic I saw when I was age 13.

Newest edit. Revisited EXCALIBUR, CONAN THE BARBARIAN, THE GREEN KNIGHT, and THE NORTHMAN with friends this past month, and decided to make this tribute video. Enjoy!

Each week among my selections there is always at least one film from or about Palestine. This list also includes a few I've watched that aren't available anymore unfortunately. A new title is added each week.
This @letterboxd.social list has 87 Palestinian films directed by women on it now + where to watch them

Thank you @lewojeda.bsky.social for bringing this to my attention, and now I bring it to those who follow me.
Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.
Opportunities are everywhere.
Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉
This mug was gifted to me by my amazing girlfriend. Also, procedure was quite painless. Only uncomfortable part about it was the anesthetic applied before the procedure. Plus, it’s reversible. Granted, it’s more expensive, but so is having kids.
A quote from Lynch on Lynch illustrated with a shote of white picket fence and roses from David Lynch's BLUE VELVET
one of my favorite quotes from David Lynch, about the magic of Los Angeles
This is a devastating loss to the art form of cinema. He made such an impact, and it is up to us to become more dreamy and surreal, with intention. My heart goes out to his family, his friends, and his fans.
Love you, Mr. Lynch. 1946-2025 (4/4)
His output was abstract, but he was not when it came to expressing himself regarding the creative experience. I highly recommend checking out his book titled “Catching the Big Fish,” which goes deeper into that.
Not just because of his filmography, not just because of his occasional scene stealing performances (check out The Fabelmans if you haven’t seen it yet), but what I adored most about him was his point of view when it came to art and creativity.
“Keep your eye on the donut, and not on the hole.”
Eraserhead, The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, and my personal favorite, Mulholland Dr. It’s tough for me to streamline just how inspirational and influential David Lynch was to me. (1/4)
Once again, having to decide what my top ten favorites of the year becomes a little more difficult. Loved THE BRUTALIST!

Hey! I’ve done podcasts centered around film and have also written short screenplays. My Letterboxd is a little scatterbrained in terms of thoughtful reviews and quick one-liners, but here it is!

I answered, “yes, grandpa. I do.”
He responded, “good man.” He then gave me a hug.
He would be 100 years old today. I would hate to see how he would have reacted to the events of last week if he were still alive today. Because I know it would break his heart.
Today is Veterans Day. Thinking of my late grandfather, who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and was decorated with a Purple Heart for his service.
When he told me his harrowing story of his experiences, he concluded by asking me, “You know the Nazis were evil, right?”
