Resurrected an old draft of mine to prove that I'm still blogging about ttrpgs.
I tried my best to explain it, so you don't have to be a software sicko like me!

Assuming it IS the end... man, what an experience. The first half of Part 2 is delightful and I love it dearly, but as a contained package Part 1 is just a phenomenal thing to have read and experienced. I cried several times in the final arc!
...which is say, as long as it's still a project FJ is keen to stay on, then a Part 3 is great. If he just wants to move on, then honestly I'm 100% behind that.
LRT: Weird moment where we don't know if that's just the end of part 2 or the end of the manga overall. We'll know in 2 weeks!
A part 3 would be great, but at the same time the slight mess of the latter half of Part 2's pacing could hint at an author who's keen to move on to other projects.
"Chainsaw Man" by Tatsuki Fujimoto will END with the next chapter on March 25, 2026
Esoteric Ebb's demo, on the other hand, really surprised me with its DE influence. While I admittedly chafe a bit with games that utilize DnD's engine and the "funny incompetent party" vibe (it's just not for me), I was genuinely drawn into it through how it applied DE's ideas - I had a great time!
that said, because the demo does *not* cover the game's start, the awkwardness of that writing style as it appears in this game may have been artificially exacerbated since I have no context for *why* this character, who appears much more professional, would think that way.
I can sense the tug-of-war at work here. Veering away from a powerful (and now embittered and lost) authorial voice and building new foundations feels like a better way to re-establish yourself as a studio, but it's difficult to discard what others adored about your previous smash-hit title.
Playing the Zero Parades demo, and while the game is always going to suffer under the studio's shadow, I like a lot of what it's doing!
...but attempts to specifically echo DE's political writing and intrusive thoughts feel like a weakness that undermines the game's identity and vibe.

Got my artbook (plus extras!) of @godivaghoul.bsky.social's phenomenal work!
Had a surreal comedy of errors trying to get it from the delivery guy due to a sitcom-like series of misunderstandings and co-incodences, BUT finally happy to have it in hand!
Mothership Month 2025 may be over, but we're still hard at work: today we're releasing UNDER THE SKIN, the newest adventure from all-start creator @kharrak.bsky.social (Bloom, VR-Dead). The twist? Any character, including the PCs, may be a monster without realizing it.
Trying out a new brush 🤔

Barker called me up one night and without preamble said "It's opinions, not onions. Not onions. This is Clive Barker. I've been trying to track down and stop this error in editions for decades. OPINIONS."
I made a podcast to review sci-fi TTRPG adventures, Ansible Uplink.
Check out the first episode with @wacomatrixo.bsky.social as we review @kharrak.bsky.social's VR_DEAD for @mothership.bsky.social

Steam, after 30 minutes of me bashing it with a hammer to try and buy the dang needle bug game.
(I somehow now have two copies of the game in my card, and I can't buy either)
Steam devs desperately trying to keep the platform functional as it's bombed to hell and back by the silksong rush
Unfortunately I did reach out via support email and got told that address is "no longer monitored" 🤷♂️
Accidentally bought a month of PSN, and two DLCs for a free-to-play fighting game, so about R300 / $15. Doesn't look like I can get a refund, either. Considering what COULD have happened though I'm immensely relieved.
Turned on PS5 via controller to play some Death Stranding 2, decided I wanted to play something quick on my PC instead so plugged my PS5 controller in... later got several PSN purchase notifications.
...turns out that if you do this, the controller is STILL sending inputs to the PS5 🫠

Anyway, it's just wonderful re-discovering these books, and what were clearly very fundamental and primordial experiences for my imagination and creative drive.
Also goes to show (once again), kids can tackle this kinda stuff if it captures their imagination, or fans the flames of passion!
The other is an academic book about (obviously) Dinosaurs, filled with skeletal diagrams, genetic trees, and special distribution through continental drift - I think I forced myself to read all of it repeatedly - I was, like 5!
It also has some absolutely phenomenal art!
The first is a collection of myths and tales from across the world, and as I look at it now it's genuinely surprising how diverse the stories and art are. The art was scary, but gripping - like I was dreaming while awake. I'd lose myself staring at it.
Visited my mom, and she had been sorting through her books and found two that I adored as a kid (and both were hefty hardcovers that were half my weight back then). Both gripped me and my imagination *deeply*, despite definitely not being for kids, let alone ones my age.
