This is especially painful on Trans Day of Visibility. At my lowest point early in my transition I was actively looking for conversion therapy. My mental health resources helped me realize it was self harm.
My heart goes out to trans kids forced into this and the hurt it will cause all trans people.

This is insightful, it makes me feel like I should lean into the pain of my trauma therapy. Part of the reason I pursue SW is because I can make my own schedule and plan around the aftermath of trauma work.
