Even among people who said they would consider voting for Reform UK at the next election, 54% said closer EU ties would have a positive impact on trade.

On my recent trip to France, at the SuperU supermarket, I was very impressed with the range and quality of the foods, better than supermarkets in GB. I also learned a new word “Vous voulez un ticket?” A till receipt.

Can I remind Labour that as of January 2025, 55% of people in Great Britain thought it was wrong to leave the European Union, compared with 30% who thought it was right.

Given the current world situation we must as least join the CU and SM. Not doing so harms our country.
