"Development" implies some sort of net benefit to society. I've yet to see that with generative AI. The brute impact with which its been forced upon all of us, consent or no, has, for me, marred any potential benefits of other types of AI (machine learning, for example).

Thank you! I actually needed the countries outlined, but I eventually wrangled it. Whew!

I caved on intentionally using Canva's AI to try to create a map of North, Central, & South America because I couldn't find a map set. I adjusted my prompt ~20 times. It failed to give me what I wanted.

Good to know that AI's still completely useless to me. I won't be using it on purpose again.

I had vague knowledge that a space launch was happening today, but given, well, everything, it'd be nice to put just a bit more focus on what's happening on Earth.

Whatever.

(What an absolutely depressing thought; I normally adore space stuff.)
