the continuity discrepancies unrelated to Terrako's time-traveling mean that Age of Calamity is wholly non-canon and is not a possible alternate timeline like it is purported to be

Terrako didn't go into some alternate universe where things happened differently though, it explicitly traveled back in time to before the Great Calamity. time-travel does not affect events prior to the point of arrival

Link already had the Master Sword for a number of years before Zelda was preparing to seek out the Champions, and the excavation and research of the Sheikah Slate didn't begin until after she did—this is contradicted by Age of Calamity

it purports to be an alternate timeline but is wholly non-canon

except stuff in Age of Calamity directly contradicts established canon from Breath of the Wild and Creating a Champion
