Actions have consequences.

You tariff our stuff, we sell it elsewhere. You stop buying our stuff, we stop buying yours. You threaten our visitors, we stop visiting.

Why is this hard to understand, Howard?

“Always sabotage your negotiating positions by doing it in public” - The Shart of War, by Don Tzu

After reading this, I’m now expecting a hastily-written amendment to the citizen’s initiative legislation to prohibit such investigations.

No need. Read the judge’s actual recommendation. It’s not what he said.

Meanwhile they’ve ignored all the other recommendations.

If Rob is speaking, it’s disinformation.

Almost makes me want to rejoin Xitter to watch…

Except for the Nazi owner, that is.

Their actions…say YES.

They are giving the map-making power to a UCP led committee, with a majority of UCP MLAs.

How much further do they need to take this before you’ll admit it’s corrupt, Don?

If we have one we’ll have 4 or 5.

He got his media-scrum training from Tyler Shandro: make sure to have at least two talking points.

Surprised he didn’t manage to say “in due course.”

I’m pushing the NDP to boycott the new sham process. Deny it any legitimacy.

I’ve emailed my NDP MLA urging the opposition to boycott this sham committee. Deny it the legitimacy it needs.

Hope you’re donating. All of that costs $$$.

They held a press conference in the leg as soon as QP ended, 11 hours after the UCP announced their motion.

Or they’ll drag this out until the last possible date before the next election, hoping there’s not enough time for the court challenge.

I urge the NDP to boycott this new process. Deny it the legitimacy the UCP seeks to put on it. Force them to try to justify this on their own.

At 20,000 km/year, which is higher than the average in any province, her numbers come out to a consumption of 24 L/100km. That’s the kind of consumption I get in my pickup…pulling a travel trailer.

The lack of a defamation lawsuit is notable.

Congrats on the new rent-free digs. Keep up the good work!

Cowards, you say? Unlike some, they have the courage to put their opinions in public under their own names.

So now that Stephen Carter has openly explained that this is none of the things alleged, are you going to post an update?

Straight out of the Trumpist/Orbanist anti-elite playbook. “Don’t trust experts, trust us instead.”

That’s not what I’m saying.

I don’t expect my Con MP to vote for the Liberal budget because I like it. But I DO expect my MP to pay attention to all constituents, especially on emergent issues, and consider those when working in caucus and Parliament.

That’s fine if the person you voted for ends up being elected. But most Canadians don’t actually enjoy that circumstance. They deserve to be heard, even if they might not support the party of their MP.

I agree, but we actually do both. And, importantly, the person elected is entrusted with representing the will and interests of their entire constituency, not just those who voted for them, in Parliament. Their role is not to represent the party to us.

100%. The Liberals under Chretien and Martin were pretty much where Carney has placed them today. Trudeau (jr) was, by far, the most left wing Liberal PM in generations. Even more so than his father.
