Its amazing to me how much activity there us on Amateur Radio POTA service. For those not into it, this is radio users setup and making contacts from state parks. Parks On The Air.

There is currently 169 active world wide and 125 in the states!

So I find interesting that my bsky is setup with feeds from friends, science, ham radio, art and a feed called I Love Racoons 😎

I’ve recently renewed my interest/activity in Amatuer Radio. I have a new QRP radio and gathering my backpack for operation in parks this coming spring/summer. POTA has helped in renewing this interest.

So I’m trying to wrap my head around a change to only post new items here and only reply to groups on FB. We’ll see how this goes.

Its true that most are cranky. I try to not fit that mold.
