I shouldn’t be working on a weekend, so to compensate I decided to take a 10 minutes walk and drink my cup of coffee while looking at tree branches moved by the wind. Looking at green trees brings me comfort.
A heartfelt thanks to everyone who stopped by in support at @iatefl.bsky.social . I’m especially grateful to my colleagues from King Abdulaziz University and the wider academic international community.

It’s a different feeling when I read a paper by someone I’ve met at a conference or been connected to for a long time on social media. I don’t just learn about their research—I also get a glimpse into their passion and belief system. It’s quite enlightening!
Update, i couldn’t access my office due to technical issues so i went to the newly refurbished library…i think that’s going to be my new place.
How exciting! Please note the very early submission date for papers - THIS year in April! Please share and looking forward to being with the IAPLL community in person again!
I have a chapter to finish in my thesis…I am supposed to go to my office but i rather change the scenery to write. So where will i go today? Cafe? Library? Stay home?
