I heard it referred to as, the useful Black theory. "I have Black friends" is an example of it or, "my son in law is Jewish". The value of the minority person only exists in their usefulness to the bigot. One of many reasons I hate bigotry so much.

People voting "uncommitted" in Democratic primaries are sending a message, but not to Biden.

The message is to Jewish people, Emigrants, Women, Black people, LGBTQ, and other marginalized groups.

The message is you don't matter. You're alone. You're at risk and we don't care.
