On this day in 1954, Roddy Piper was born in Saskatoon.
Raised in Winnipeg, he went on to become one of the most famous and greatest professional wrestlers in the world. He was also an actor, appearing in They Live and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He died in 2015.
