Is PlatformIO a good solution for developing ESP32/Arduino? I am looking for an easier way to compile for more boards and configurations without all the overhead in Arduino Studio.

A longer version of my Cartridge Slot Extender for the #Analogue #Pocket. I need to make an updated shell but it's scanning those @retrodotcards.com cards just fine. Gerbers are available on my github.

Double check your watch history. For a while that "Preview in Feed" was counted as a watch for me, so just scrolling past was enough for YouTube to think I wanted more. I had to delete my history to fix things.

3D Firmware 1.2.0 - Analogue Firmware version 1.2.0 for 3D

I'm really excited to try out the update to #Analogue 3D. Forced Progressive seems really cool (though I'd still like to see proper deinterlacing options).

Well the first game I wanted to do a full playthrough on the #Analogue3D has graphical issues. Guess Tarzan was doing some advanced features

Are you a #HomeAssistant and #Zaparoo user? I would love to get some feedback on a integration (services that would be useful, sensors that should be exposed, etc...)

Currently you need to add it as a custom repo, but soon we should have it available in default via hacs.

Just as a heads up I was told the alt-cores option in update_all will pull in the Turbo Core into the Others folder. My script is still useful if you want it to go into the console folder (which I want since the N64 is my favorite home console)

Mister N64 Turbo Core updater Mister N64 Turbo Core updater. GitHub Gist: instantly share code, notes, and snippets.

For anyone that hasn't tried the #N64 Turbo Core on the #MisterFPGA yet, I made a small script to update to the latest version automatically. It will then call update_all afterwards (can be disabled in the config). gist.github.com/v1605/3aad3a...

I'll double check but I don't think so. I think I kept a Super Famicom shell that was equally bad.

This dmg was probably the most yellowed console I've had on my bench. It was used as a donor for my BMO build.

Yeah the USB-C is much more convenient when traveling. I'm looking forward to testing this screen cover more. I'm always so paranoid I'm going to scratch the screen if I stick in my pocket.

This one hits right in the nostalgia. My first GBA was a white model I got on Christmas 2001. The only issue with this system was a dirty power switch but I did a recap for good measure. The screen is a Funnyplaying m2 and I added @nataliethenerd.com and @mousebitelabs.bsky.social's Bucket Amp.

This #GBA SP is now charging and ready to go. EM8 needed a reflow, the charge led needed a replacement (now it's a nice blue), and it needed a bodge to reconnect F2 to D1. Going to have to play through some #KingdomHearts to put it through its paces.

Had to repair some ripped pads and rusted volume slider but the #GBA sp should be back in working order now. Big thanks to @nataliethenerd.com for all the board scans. Would have taken a lot longer to find that broken trace without them.

I've done a similar build using a GBA that had its cpu and ram removed. I definitively prefer your custom pcb approach! I also did a adapter for the snes, reading the input from a controller to convert to Bluetooth without modification to the controller github.com/v1605/SNES-B...

It's been a bit more chaotic than expected but I think I'm fully migrated to #Unifi UDM SE. I saw a deal to pick one up for open box for $350.
