The root problem: app developers embed ad trackers that sell your location to data brokers, who sell to anyone — including ICE. No warrant needed. Until Congress passes real privacy laws, limiting app permissions and deleting your ad ID are your best defenses. Don't make it easy for them.
ICE also bought Tangles, which scrapes social media, forums, and dark web data to build dossiers. It can detect faces and track online activity. LOCK DOWN your social accounts: make profiles private, limit visible personal info, and remove your real name/location/employer where possible. (5 of 6)
