The number of reposts that despise him is fkn alarming lol.

I’ve seen people call him generic white man before (baffling, he’s fkn gorgeous??), but to actually hate him for being a -checks notes- corporate marketing tool is crazy lol. Literally just block me.

Largely, the way I characterise him is mostly a peaceable, quiet observer. He’s not entirely a silent protag, bc he speaks plenty in context, but he’s not especially chatty or animated to strangers.

Dialogue choices and such suggest he’s got a very dry wit. So in essence, he’s Blue/Purple Hawke.

I don’t agree with the sentiment that he is a “blank slate”. Not even remotely. Contextually, without any OC dressing and headcanons, the WoL that exists within the game is actually a very well rounded character. That’s who Meteor is to me, and I love him.

Lol, I realise this was probs about what new stuff we want for the job, and I’ve listed fixes. But I don’t really know what you’d add on top of any job at this point, like, everything feels full to burst. So just rework what exists?

RDM: This new ranged melee combo is nonsense, bin it. Idr know what else you’d add to it, we definitely don’t need another combo finisher.
PCT: Just make it so I can spend white paint while I have a black paint.

SMN: lmao. Inject some excitement. Fr tho, as it stands now? Bahamut upgrades into Solar Dickhead. If Lux Solaris must be a button, call it Umbral Flow and give every summon a new ability. But fr, literally just rework the whole job. Demi Smns at lvl 50 thanks. Give Shiva, Leviathan and Ramuh.

VPR: idk, just make it more interesting at lower lvls.
BRD: Idk, condense some stuff? Shrug.
MCH: Idfk man
DNC: LOCK DEVILMENT BEHIND TECH STEP FOR GODS SAKE.
BLM: Don’t fkn touch it it’s finally great. Maybe just tweak how Firestarter works so you’re not always casting your next Fire when it procs.

MNK: Fix how Perfect Balance works at lvl 50 so it’s not completely wretched to use at that lvl.
DRG: Idk make the rotation more dynamic it’s so boring.
NIN: Lol there’s no saving this.
SAM: Consolidate the Kenki OGCDs, just make them AOE by default. Reduces button bloat.
RPR: Sacrificium sucks. Bin

WHM: Cure upgrades directly into Cure 2. Cure 1 just stops being a button people can press.
SCH: Bring back Miasma 2. Have it upgrade into Baneful Impaction if you must. Unlink it from Chain Strat.
AST: Benefic upgrades to Benefic 2. Make all cards AOE.
SGE: Idk it’s pretty perfect.

PLD: Make Requiescat and Confetior one button.
WAR: Beast Gauge gain from AOE WAY earlier. Like lvl 50 at least.
DRK: TBN upgrades into a reworked Oblation. Give two charges instead of MP cost. Also Flood of Darkness should be replaced with the much cooler Dark Passenger.
GNB: Extend buff duration.
