▶️ The top prospects have each been assigned -- or won't be anytime soon. That and a few notes on the early debuts.

Will Colt Emerson’s new extension accelerate his timeline to the big leagues?
@baseballthings.bsky.social says there are things he still needs to see in the minors before making his debut⬇️
💯
Many of these actions are pretty clearly wrong -- opposing managers, most/all -- are NOT handling things this way on any front, and there's often enough NO argument for the way Wilson pulls the levers.
Dan Wilson is a bad tactical baseball manager, plain and simple.
"we're not using our best relievers unless we're tied or winning BS" which seems to be in order sometimes, but then others not (Game 7), and it seems the players have strict strategies for when they can challenge with ABS, and therefore are getting NO VALUE at all from it, hitters or pitchers.
...like when a reliever isn't available for legit reasons (he couldn't get loose, etc).
But there is no real rhyme or reason to the club's pinch hitting nor bullpen usage -- including the whole...
▶️ I don't disagree with every move the Mariners & Dan Wilson make -- and I am well aware and fully acknowledge the chance sometimes it's simply a matter of opinion, and that the club & Wilson occasionally just have more info than we do...

Writing about the Rockies
I really can't emphasize enough that you are a complete freak if you care about Boy Scout genitals
Lot of talk about Brian Cashman, among a few others, being on the hot seat, but Preller is the most overhyped of the front office leaders in baseball.
SD just extended A.J. Preller thru '28 after three 90+ win seasons, 4 postseason appearances in 11 tries, & one win beyond the NLDS despite all those trades and all that money spent.
Won 90, 93, 82, 89, & 79 games with a payroll ranked 6, 11, 3, 6, 2 since 2021.
OVERRATED.
Still think the Royals are going to surprise some folks...
Mets are a bit overranked...
Astros' projections are held down by injury, otherwise they are right there with Seattle...
