I uploaded the 2004 Italian point-and-click adventure S.P.Q.R. - These Romans Are Crazy, a "funny" time travel piece.
The game was basically lost media until this upload, since there is ZERO information about it on the internet.

(some of) a deleted scene from We're Back! A Dinosaur Story which is part of a longer cut of the movie that is still lost
This scene explains Screweyes's backstory and was the cut where he was voiced by John Malkovich

All those lost media were âon the huntâ on the Lost Media Wiki discord. Now, they have been archived on the section On the Hunt Archives, proof that we donât really have hope of finding them one day.

Sometimes, we canât find lost media because we donât have access to technical means, like for the Breaking Bad flash game âWALTâS WARNINGâ. We found it on the Waybach Machine but canât play it because we miss some files. The search is dead since 2023.

Topic: lost media searches that encountered a dead end
Even with years into searching them, sometimes, lost media can not be found. This is the case of the Japanese ad âHirogataâ also called âThe crepy lost Japanase railway safety commercialâ.

Non ?... Vous ĂȘtes sĂ»r ?

Graggle satirizes the Mandela effect and has become a meme. He is a beloved character, and you can find corners of the internet dedicated to upholding the hoax, like his subreddit where people dive head on into the fantasy of his existence:

Graggle is an infamous lost media or ratherâŠlost media HOAX
His fans claim that footage has been wiped of him from the early seasons of the show through retroactive continuity, and thus not many people remember him from the broadcasts.

In terms of understanding the history of the community, I'd recommend Clockman, Cracks, and Me and My Friends (that last one was a disaster).

One of the most popular searches right now is for Big Star Secret [đŸ check our post on that one!], a screamer YouTube video from the late 2000s. It's a little stupid in the eyes of much of the community, but it's a hot topic right now, like a lot of internet media. [...]
London After Midnight is one of the oldest and most basic- a Lon Chaney horror film that was lost in a vault fire in the 60s.
lostmediawiki.com/London_After...
Cracks was a much similar case. I'm not gonna explain the whole thing because you can find a lot of that info online already. Both of those started as unidentified media searches- stuff that people remember but don't know the name of. That's not entirely the same as lost media.
Someone came into a forum asking about a short they saw as a kid where a man crawls out of a clock and abducts a child. Someone else also remembered this, and from then on there were people all wondering what this was and why it sounded so scary.
âIn terms of an iconic case, Clockman would probably be the most iconic, or Cracks. This is where the LMW got a lot of its reputation in the beginning, and a ton of people were talking about it.

đŸWhat would you recommend for a new researcher as a good first case of lost media or lost wave?
