Memento Mori I've decided to start a tradition of penning a short essay on my birthday for as long as I can. So, on (or around) March 31, you can expect a short essay from me reflecting on life and living. Why would I start this tradition on my birthday with an essay titled "Memento Mori"? If you don't know, Memento Mori loosely means "Remember you must die." Why, on a day when I should be celebrating in some form or fashion, would I choose to think and talk about death?
