#31: The Mario Galaxy Movie
It had no needle drops, so it was already better than the first movie
But yeah, the plot was wafer-thin and the character arcs sorta just fizzled out within the first 30 minutes, but damned if it wasn't real pretty and the action sequences were really good also
8.5/10
#30: The Super Mario Bros. Movie
That was certainly a Mario movie.
Needle drop.

#29: Fallout 3: Point Lookout
Probably the most visually interesting dlc, but when nearly everything is a massive bullet sponge even on lower levels, I'm not exactly gonna be holding my breath in anticipation of replaying this
Also much like the Pitt, this is far too close to irl for comfort
5/10
#28: Fallout 3: Broken Steel
I don't remember the middle of this dlc being an utter bitch to go through in the past. And then I remembered that I always played a stealth build and just AVOIDED the deathclaw microwave hallway instead
Yeah kinda brought the experience down a LITTLE
6.5/10
#27: Fallout 3: The Pitt
I hate this place, its not even post-apocalyptic, its just regular Pittsburgh
The true peak of any Fallout experience is the moments when you get to be a complete and utter bastard for kicks and this dlc has em by the truckload
Still sucks to play though

#26: Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage
That oughta kick those commies to the curb-
commies to the cur-
comm- [A CRITICAL ERROR HAS OCCURED]
The invincible power armor is pretty cool even if it was bugged to hell. Giving you choices with gear and squad layout was also neat but kinda redundant

#25: Fallout 3
I've got a fondness for Fallout 3 for being the game that got me into Fallout and a bunch of other rpgs as a result.
Saying that, its pretty dated and HORRIBLY buggy. But that's part of the charm, much like Oblivion
Also Tale of Two Wastelands makes it infinitely better
8.5/10
#24: FFXIV: A Realm Reborn Patches 2.1-2.55
Just a regular entry whenever I actually replay the MSQ I guess but its every other year so w/e
But yh MSQ drags a lil early on but 2.4 onwards is a great buildup to Heavensward
8/10
#23: Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
This is actually a fun little heist movie that just happens to take place in the Forgotten Realms. Not perfect by any means, ofc, but D&D adaptations have been FAR worse
I did the Leo Dicaprio point every time I saw a spell I recognised, so its a 8/10

#22: Vin Diesel's xXx (2002)
This is honestly kinda mid. Has some incredibly goofy moments and it oozes of peak 2002 "We're trying to reinvent action movies but all the old action stars are still trying to be relevant and the new ones are having teething problems" energy
But yeah not great.

Can we all agree that this is a most horrific dog
Instead we get this. To watch an entire generation of talent wasted and burned out to submit to the whims of a power team-up of incompetent finance brained executives and ignorant shortsighted investors, the meager products of which are themselves swallowed by the rampage of blind tech bro avarice.
Videogames should have been thriving. We should be currently in the midst of an era defining flowering of institutional experience translating into a transformative refinement of both the design and production aspects of game making resulting in new horizons of experiences and possibilities.
Absolutely keep track of artists that decided to embrace AI cuz they're the ones that will try to pretend like nothing happened
Incredibly funny that people bring up the bad controls and I'm like... have you actually played the Adventure games recently? Every 3d Sonic game was like that until Unleashed's Day stages
Sonic Heroes is perfectly fine. People definitely aren't mean enough to Sonic Colors though.
you ever think about how WRPG is a borderline dead genre because microsoft consolidated all the biggest creators under their umbrella
#21: The Martian
I wasn't expecting this to be the advent of Space Piracy but there it is.
Matt Damon's acting really shines, especially the massive chunk of the movie where he's quite literally the only man on Mars

A DLSS 5 Off -> DLSS 5 On meme image. Real Ben Starr is represented as rendered using DLSS 5 Off. Puppet Ben Starr is represented as rendered using DLSS 5 On.
We're gonna hit the 20th anniversary of Skyrim and 6 -still- won't have come out.
Fucking Todd going "Haha yeah just pretend we never made that announcement".
No Todd. I won't pretend.
I won't forget that you said it was in development just to boost your stocks to look good for acquisition.
Then why the fuck did they let Jensen Huang go up on stage seething and coping like an insane fucking lunatic saying "No its not a filter its not a filter it affects the geometry its not a filter"???
4 sonic movies in 8 years
used to be that major video game franchises had release schedules like this
I like the renewed appreciation for the art of sentence mixing existing voice lines in the face of AI. You can never generate something as funny as The Heavy is Dead.

@wooliewoolz.bsky.social @patstaresat.bsky.social the tech guys
Looks like Nvidia really messed up with this whole DLSS 5 garbage. You don't ever piss off the people who make the games.
