I don’t think he will throw too many hits on Hutson, Xhekaj will be watching closely. The last game Sabourin played against Habs, Xhekaj dropped him. The ref had to help Sabourin get back to the bench

Caufield with the 1st goal, 4-3 Habs
That’s what the majority of people say including coaches, Analysts fans, etc… but when I see the young players spend hours on the ice with Adam Nicholas, among other trainers, they are teaching our young players how to improve. It’s developing our young players into stars. My opinion
I think it could have been little easier. Sitting him out for 10 or 15 games straight didn’t improve his game. For me the main thing he is playing good now, and he is a big part of this team for a playoff run.
The future is more important now.
Yes, he can hold 3 water bottles in one hand. I wouldn’t piss him off either🤣
Agree, he still need to show emotion, just keep it in check a little. Sometimes it’s the emotion that scares people. They don’t know what he will do. Zadorov does this as well.
Agree but MSL didn’t have much trust in him.
As long as Xhekaj continues to play and not make many mistakes, he is a big part of this team. He is laying out some big hits. He is very intimidating. Habs need this.
💯 we have to play smart hockey. Five on five is very important, can’t depend on pp.
Good Morning Roy, another big day for our journey.
💯 if the Habs can pull off another win in Tampa would be huge. ‘Won’t be pushovers’ is the key in this series. And with our pp coming up big last game, Tampa may not be running around trying to intimidate or injure some of our small players. Montreal also needs to avoid taking bad penalties.
Pp for the next 10 years
Yes they did, and MSL had a right to be pissed
He is becoming the power forward we all hoped for and need. He just turned 22 in march, I don’t think anyone knows his ceiling yet, but what a treat to watch him develop and reach for stardom. And to realize he’s signed here for under 8 million until 2033.
I think you may be on to something there Gilles. If I remember correctly the game was against Edmonton, where the refs were blatantly bad, and MSL called them out, as did Caufield. We seem to get more bad calls than most teams.
I hear you 😜
Indeed it is
Yahoo what a time for a hatrick
Great call on 1st goal
Could be, but He may still be used on PK, with his size and reach, he would cover lot of ice. I hope you are right with Anderson, Dach, & Slaf laying the body on him. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
Yes I agree, it may take time.
Demidov with 1st goal, 4-3 Habs
Yes it is. I thought he would be out longer, as there were no reports on his status.
TSN is saying Hedman is back with the team, skating, but still not cleared to play. Lebrun says he will be travelling with the team back to Montreal. This is not good news for Habs.
Agree, and with Tampa having advantage with line changes, that may be big problem for Montreal. Yesterday’s game with Ottawa, Carolina players were targeting Sanderson. I expect Hutson, Caufield, Carrier will be taking hits for sure. Hutson is pretty slippery, but battles in corners, he will be hit
👍
A little nervous but very excited. They will miss Dobson for sure.
lol, that’s one way to describe it. This is indeed a monster match up, and it’s probably what this young team needs. Most of the players got a taste last year against the Caps. They will be more ready this year. They can win this series.
I agree Gilles, if they get through this series, they can have a deep run. With their playoff experiences the last few years, I think Tampa is best team in the east overall. Putting them out will be major boost for our young team.
Have a great holiday, enjoy some sunshine.
