fun fact: the graphic on the b-side of this disc is actually a DTG screenprint, i.e. what they use on clothing. it was a terrific way to get the visual benefit of a picturedisc with none of the fidelity loss. i still wonder how it would've looked on an opaque disc, rather than a clear one

@jlesica.bsky.social was infuriated to hear about the hearing aid denial, so we made a deal. i will play guinea pig for him. he got me the new airpods pro, and it's my job to test the hearing aid tech and give him my honest take.

still getting that MRI either way, but we are so back.

update. just got word that my insurance approved coverage for the the MRI! doesn't change the fact that they denied coverage for a hearing aid consult, but perhaps the MRI results will change things, who knows. it's progress either way. i need my head scanned for more reasons than just hearing.
