My papier mache wishing well at #Lightwaves last Saturday night. The little kids had fun ringing the bell inside with a coin toss while they made a wish. This was the 3rd Lightwaves event at St Paul's Church.

Using the glass saw means the shapes can be cut nearly intact. The inward curves are too sharp to be cut by hand, so usually I cut them into smaller shapes. That isn't necessarily a *bad* thing. The "3" shape has stress points & is more prone to cracking if the finished piece is handled roughly.

Testing methods of keeping the lines from washing away when cutting with the glass saw. So far, acrylic marker pen covered in nail varnish stays on reasonably well. Sharpie marks and acrylic markers alone wash off nearly instantly. #stainedglassart
