No SERIOUSLY. 😭😭😭 I absolutely SOBBED when she came to rescue them! This is to date still the most impactful "death" in any or manga anime for me.

I was ghosted on twitter by James Gurney, author and artist of the famed #Dinotopia series. I'd posted how it was a childhood creative core for me and I'd always wished for a poster map of the island for my collection.
He originally replied, promising to help me get one, but never responded again. 😞

I gave in and downloaded a nexus mod to let me have a non-public server so I can play PC without being blown up every two minutes by bored people modded up to look like ghost rider who want to set everyone else on fire for fun.

It's everything I missed. 😭

I've unironically ended up on horse-girl tik tok on my author account (probably due to the wild west books) and I think about you a lot when it's videos of people being goofy with their horses.

Also, RDO is still my ultimate gurl-and-her-horse game. ♥️🏇 Those were great times.

More #dnd character art. This is (was) the air genasi shadow monk I was playing in a friends campaign. I adored Avari, but due to plot complications (aka: the party killing her djinni demigod dad and her having to take over for him 👀💧) I had to swap my player character out for someone else.

My #DnD group has agreed to let me DM a remixed Curse of Strahd campaign, reflavored as a Southern Gothic Horror (ala @avantris.bsky.social 's #CrookedMoon).

Partly why I am glad I updated to a standalone tablet. I was gifted a XP Magic Pen tablet last year, and I adore it. The screen and stylus nib have just the right amount of bite, it's such a good drawing texture.
It also came with an attachable keyboard so it can be a little laptop, too.

If I had a nickel for every time I'd made a videogame-inspired plushie on a whim and caught the attention of the devs of said game, I'd have two nickels, which is not a lot, but it's weird because I've only ✨ever✨ sewn two videogame-inspired plushies on a whim.

I do miss her, she was my sassy little jellybean. And I'll always be grateful for the years we got together. But at the same time, if she hadn't concluded her lifecycle and opened space in our home, we never would have met Cosmic, who I also love.
This is just the cycle, I guess.

time eventually smooths the ragged edges and new loves help fill the deepest parts of the empty spot. but the impression they leave always remains.
