I can tell you I don't have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of articles. Articles I have acquired over a very long career of paywalling content. Paywalls that make me a nightmare for people like you.

It is no coincidence that NFL players and coaches still keep a presence in Charlotte when their careers take them elsewhere.

Once you’ve bounced around America enough, you understand how much of a sweet spot North Carolina is.

I went to the library to get a book on Pavlov's dog and Schrodinger's cat.

The librarian said that she thought it rang a bell but wasn't sure if it was there or not!

I just want songs autoplaying on profiles like we had with MySpace 20 years ago. Enough of the same-old corporate templates.

Personalization can be WAY more than a profile picture and a three-sentence bio.

The Hornets haven’t won a game like that since I was a kid. I’m 35.

Agency is downstream of ownership. It’s a form of leverage.

This is the real fundamental challenge of the creator journalism age. Journalism outlets are institutions and can bring some fire power to some legal battles, or dissuade moneyed litigants from trying to destroy individual reporters.

I like “internet handle.” It’s audacious.

Not only is X a toxic hellscape that's bad for your brand, it also doesn't make any sense when you look at the metrics.

Only the worst bubbles up, so unless you're posting the worst, focus on other venues that are significantly more productive for you.

My talk from Atmosphere wasn't available, so I used the Power of the Atmosphere to build a place you can see it: ionosphere.tv/talks/rj8Xv62

You can also leave comments/reactions if you like, and the rest of the talks are (mostly) also there. Explore!

“Safety does not come from absence. It comes from presence, from a healthy, adapted living biome.”

Fantastic talk. What we resist persists.

This is absolutely beautiful and very well done.

The horde is out there and they’re the reason I noped out of here the first time around.

I only came back when I found out I could run a PDS.

My key to enjoying it here is to mute all keywords related to one man. Hardly anything about him is actionable, and he thrives on making people mad.

People talk about Bluesky / ATProto being for old people like it’s a bad thing. Do you realize how much money old people have?

In 30 years, the peak Bluesky user will be burning money in a casino and living off that sweet boomer inheritance.
