Working in Dr. Howie Bluestein’s lab was one of the greatest privileges of my life. I am humbled to be part of the elite club of his former grad students. We celebrated his career and retirement last night at the NWC.

It has been a busy year for tornadoes in Oklahoma and north Texas. The area of responsibility of the NWS Norman office has had a record 104 tornadoes (previous record was 94 in 1999). There have been 145 tornadoes confirmed in Oklahoma (the record is 149 in 2019.)

Primarily sharing this as a bookmark to access some documentation on how to use Bluesky. It seems like it has much more customization available than the other place.
