I don't always read as "asian" and there's always a poke of imposter syndrome with Chinese culture for me -as if being half means I get less access to connect with this part of me or that I need permission.
But it's not needed and I welcome everyone to celebrate with me!

A human with handsome, dark features, his face framed with long brown hair with a soft kink to it, wearing a dark blue robe. - Chicory Taproot. A Hobbit with delicate, pale features, and wavy brown hair, wearing a flowing purple dress, with white frills and an apron. - Theodas. A muscular Elf with strong dark features, framed by a thick, greying beard, wearing a grey cloak over a dull golden chestpiece. - Mistiel. An Elf with beautiful dark features and long white braids, wearing a hooded auburn cloak over dark leather armour. - Eona. A woman with tanned features and long black hair, intertwined with golden scales, wearing heavy brown leather armour and a single steel pauldron with fur lining. - Aerlind. A tall and handsome Elf with deep black, straight hair and elven robes in shades of sea blues and greens. In his hand he carries a golden astrolabe. Above them are the words "The Fourth Age: Book Three" and below them "Chapter Ten: The White Ships."

Every good story needs a good ending. I'm equal parts eager and crushed as we approach our final episode of The Fourth Age.
Worried. Excited. Crying. Thrilled. It's going to be A LOT.
Two figures, stood against smoke and fire: - Mistiel, an elf with beautiful dark features and long white braids, wearing a hooded auburn cloak over dark leather armour. Around her neck, she wears a simple necklace in which there is a small glass vial containing a single leaf, which hangs just above her bare, toned abdomen. An Elven sword hangs from her waist. - Aerlind, a tall and handsome Elf with warm-toned, fair skin. He has deep black, straight hair that cascades down his back in a gentle wave, tied back with braids. He has monolid, warm amber eyes. He wears smart, finely made elven robes and leather armour in shades of sea blues and greens. A bow is slung over his shoulder. In front of them are the words “The Fourth Age: Book Three” and “Chapter Nine: The Scouring of Mithlond.”

Character deaths, scary? Yes. Worth it? Also yes.
Character deaths can be such a powerful part of a character's story.
So my take, yes, definitely worth exploring!
I watched her fur begin to fade to white, all her toys earn holes and tears, held her tightly as we drove with the windows down.
Bunny, I'll see you one day across that rainbow bridge but today is just painful. You are missed immensely.
And I will love you always.
