Nobody should ever let him anywhere near their phone (much as some of her tweets have been A++ material).

And my new district runs from my house (which is less than 4 miles from the White House) to where I go camping/MTBing at the WV/VA state line. *Very* different places. Wild. But necessary, for now. #lookwhatyoumademedo
Oof.
🤡🚗
"Get on your bike. Ride your local bike lane, greenway, or street. It doesn’t need to be long; even a short neighborhood loop counts. Invite as many people as you can, including business leaders and elected officials. 1. Join a local solidarity ride and rally. Post a photo or short video and include: Your location and the name of the bike lane or street One sentence about why safe streets matter to you or your community. Include something about the place you rode. Tag your photos/videos: #AmericasBikeLane + #BikeLanesSaveLives tagging @bikeleague and @wabadc and your member of Congress. 2. Share a post from your bike lane. 3. Sign the petition and contact Congress. Take two minutes to send a message to your Member of Congress urging them to stop the removal of DC’s 15th Street bike lane and oppose any federal effort to unilaterally remove safe infrastructure, because BIKE LANES SAVE LIVES. "
If you can't find a nearby rally to join, you can still join in the action tomorrow. Whether you're showing up for a local ride, posting a selfie from your favorite bike route, or sending a message to your representative, every action counts!

Save America's Bike Lanes. Bike lanes save lives. April 21st.
#ICYMI, tomorrow is a national day of action to #SaveAmericasBikeLane!
Rallies are happening across the country:
- in DC with @waba.org
- in Denver, Colorado with @bicyclecolorado.bsky.social
- in Honolulu, Hawaii with Hawai'i Bicycling League
- in Cleveland, Ohio with @bikecleveland.bsky.social
So part of achieving the CEO-level of existence is being willing to suspend your critical thinking when it comes to riding industry social trends. No matter how dumb it is (see NFTs, crypto, constant restructuring, etc.), you just join in and say "Yep, it's coming! And we're all in!"
(This post brought to you by my general view that we should all be comfortable with basic first aid, as well as my time yesterday helping out a woman who took quite a tumble on the Mount Vernon Trail yesterday. More blood than any of us preferred, I think. But she was okay, in the end.)
Would you be of any use if you came across a traffic crash with bleeding victims? Consider a www.stopthebleed.org course. There is almost certainly a free one close to you.
I gave a talk at a local user-group meeting earlier today in which I had to offer some observations about the degraded state of the Post, and one attendee afterwards asked where people were going to find out about interesting events around town. Here's one option. ⬇️
Nauseating.
My dad left the Air Force and joined the Army. Almost 50 years later, I think we all still regret that.
Now put Elon in charge of it.
There's a local business owner on Instagram who filmed this with the construction still going on in the background. Top tier haterade.
"What, you're riding on 25s? Get out of here."
Does it have a Klarna option?
Thank you for highlighting this important loss.
The defining feature of the manosphere in the 2020s is whining and complaining about everything and taking responsibility for nothing
Here's my self-evident reality - Sotomayor is not ready for this moment, in the same way that Garland was not. Brown-Jackson is the only one even beginning to get there.
I don't have a lot of respect for the state of Maryland. I mean, look at its drivers, Old Bay . . . that *flag.* But this is pretty awesome.
(Also, if you've never been to Calvert Cliffs looking for sharks teeth/fossils, play hooky soon and do it.)
Actually, scratch that. It's going to be all about Constitutional Carr, err, Lawyering.
Suddenly everyone's going to be barred in Alabama and we're going to be hearing a whole lot about reciprocity.
I am a DC Resident, and I pay federal taxes. There is no vote for me in Congress. If you have representation on the hill, tell your members of Congress that you support DC Statehood.
This year, like every year for the last 16, I have paid my tax bill to a government in which I have no representation. This year, it feels far worse than in previous years, because of the things done with that money that zealous representation might have been able to curb or stop.
Statehood for DC
Not just judges doing this. Biglaw reaching into same pool and making offers, blocking other firms from recruiting them later. Just completely ridiculous stuff.
Very cool.
I am certain we have more in common with the inner lives of cetaceans than we realize.
I also suspect that whales have probably decided a convo w humanity isn’t worth having.
All the crimes happening in the Federal enclave right now, and this wax dummy is focused on kids.
Every single one of my friends who have died while riding a bike was wearing a helmet at the time.
Things bike helmets will protect you from:
-Head injuries from a slow speed fall
-Light rain
-Being blamed for not wearing a helmet if you get hit by someone driving 5,000 lbs of metal and glass
Things bike helmets won't protect you from:
-Everything else
🤷🏻♀️
Strikes me that this might be the first legit good AI-replaces-worker scenario I've come across.
