They checked a lot of stuff, so it's not that at least!

Yep I will see a spine specialist for it. Ty!

Thanks Audre! I'll be doing PT most likely so we'll see what they recommend for whatever's going on

Bit of an update: just waiting to schedule an MRI after talking to my doc a couple hours ago. I also have referrals to a spine specialist and physical therapy. Things are moving toward recovery/diagnosis and I have stuff to manage the pain for now.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes :)

Thank you, I talked to my doctor today (yay for video calls!)! And she ordered an MRI. I'm also referred to a spine specialist + pt

Once I can sit and move again I'll be going to PT so that's a possibility for the future

Ty. I'd rather have a broken arm or something tbh lol

The lesson here is, I guess, make sure to stretch and exercise to strengthen your back if you sit a lot like I do

I'm still in bed atm. Honestly thinking of closing the shop so I can rest this week. I just really, really need to focus on doing what I can so this doesn't get worse.

I went to the ER yesterday with severe back pain (via ambulance it was that bad after 6 hours at home) only to be told they couldn't see any reason for it lol. So I guess a terribly pinched nerve enough to send me into some of the worst pain I've ever felt. I didn't even do anything to set it off

Gods these types are all so insufferable

Yes very much! Copyright exists for photographers too, that's the basics

If you're late it'll charge you late fees, that's how they make their money. According to the video linked above it also charges the seller twice the normal rate of a regular credit card if you use Klarna, so like I'd be hit with an 8% fee. So it's a no for me.

Ohhh yikes thank you for sharing that! Ok I'm very confident in my decision to turn it off now. Also, I had no idea that it charges the seller a double fee! So if I sold my largest originals then Klarna would take like $48 from me oh hell no.

A 5 by 7 inch block print in emerald green of a dragon within a circle. Outside of the circle its surrounded by vines. Under the print is 7/38 which means print number 7 out of 38 total prints. The title Ivey and signed Katie Croonenberghs. Text reads kamakru.com

I need to get started on this month's lino print pretty soon, and all of the new leaves and flowers I see are making feel like it needs to be something leafy!
Maybe kind of like this lino from last August, titled "Ivy"

Hey sounds good to me haha, thank you!

Ohh that adds another whole layer! I'd probably resort to just offering one print option per month but they could still choose the size. That way you could offer the single item discount and restrict it to that one listing. Wish I had a better idea, I'm sure you've already thought of it D:

Ahh thank you! 💚

Seriously. My monthly print is automatic so Patrons can't choose, so I just hadn't realized this was an issue. If you wanted to do a set of prints or something, could maybe create a single listing with multiple print options and use a form so they can choose that way as an alternative

I had it on repeat, surprised it still works tbh lol

So this also means that the "credit" I've given to one of my Patrons won't work at all in the shop unless I actually purchase my my own gift card to give to them (wtf? I can't give out credit to my own shop?).
They really are lacking in this department. :/

Omg this is so dumb and I see your frustration. I did some tests and basically a discount applied with a category restriction ex: "$20 off prints" applies it PER EVERY print added, not just the whole order. So adding 2 prints gives $40 off. And there's no way to just give out gift cards either.

Today's errand CD in the car was Linkin Park: Meteora
I can definitely see why this resonated with high school me and so many others haha

I'm pretty sure that every time you use it, it runs your credit like a whole new line of credit, and if you're ever late the entire total is immediately due with full interest added on. Using it and paying it off once isn't a problem, but doing it all the time feels too risky.

4 days ago 1 0 1 0

I didn't know what it was at first but it feels predatory. I hope people aren't using it in place of (hate that I'm saying this) a regular credit card.

I thought about it and turned off that Klarna thing that appeared in my shop. I'd really like people to not purchase art on risky new credit like that.
Especially disabling it before the new originals and prints drop tomorrow
