just watched sesame street with my son. i don’t know. it’s not like i’m too good for it, it’s just that i know most of this stuff already. like, i work in journalism. i know 23 letters of the alphabet and i’m confident i’ll learn the rest over the course of my work. i don’t need a tv show for that

Genuinely don't like when people pitch a work of art via culture war crap.

Saying 'Read this to piss off the rightwingers' or 'Buy this to make the chuds cry' etc.

That's just sad to me.

Talk about the thing's beauty and radiance without that nonsense reducing it a vehicle for some imagined 'win'

A two-frame cartoon: A balding older man is seated in an easy chair, watching a male television newscaster shouting into his microphone, "What can we do to lessen the grip of fear from terrorism?" In the second frame, the old man is holding the TV channel changer and smiling, as the word, "Click!" appears above the TV set screen that has just gone to black.

WATCHING OR LISTENING TO THE NEWS?

QUESTION: "What can we do to
lessen the grip of fear from terrorism?"

ANSWER: "Click!" :-)}

For the record you have all fallen into my trap. Observe this giant room full of chairs and CRT monitors. You will now each be tied to one and forced to play at least one PS1 game to completion before you are released
