Listener Seth Kane enjoyed his latest visit to the @schulzmuseum.bsky.social for the Canine Companions event with Jean Schulz, and sent us a photo of this surprising persona-- Snoopy as Mister T.

That makes the most sense. Thanks.

If it wasn’t Schulz’s idea, it seems unlikely that he would have continued it in the strip. @benjaminlclark.com @nat.gertler.com can you add any clarification?

It shows that patting birds was Charlie Brown's idea and Lucy was upset about it making her a laughingstock by association. Deb Perry adds: The only thing I can’t verify is whether or not Schulz originated the idea of Linus patting birds on the head of if one of Western Publishing’s writers did.
